The Appeal of Pale Teal

You know how something can be right under your nose for the longest time, but you just don’t see, or appreciate, it? And once you do, you can’t help but notice it everywhere. This is how I am with minty-pale teal. It started with this vase I bought from Anthropologie. Then I noticed it on furniture, housewares, cars, jeans—and half the Victorian homes in my neighborhood. Slightly retro, almost neutral, fresh and soothing: I think this might be my new favorite (old) color.
