Fun With The Sun

We’ve been having some abnormally warm weather (and I mean that in a good way) and super sunny days here in San Francisco. While the intense light does wonders for my mood, it doesn’t always make for the best photos: too harsh and direct. It does, however, create some interesting shadows that are pretty saturated and defined. Here are some pics I took of the trees along my street during a late morning stroll. Next time you’re out for a walk in the sun, take a look at the ground, or the walls … and you might see something interesting lurking in the shadows.

  1. These photos are so interesting! I know I need to get more creative with my photography, but I feel stuck with more traditional methods. I just wanted to stop by and say hello, I was in the Alt class Monday night 🙂

    • Hi Amanda,
Thanks for stopping by (and leaving the nice note)—it’s nice to put a face to the name. I love those Alt classes—and will probably cross paths with you again at some point. Just checked out your site and I’m gonna be going back for more as I’ve always had an interest in event planning. Sounds so fun. Hope you have a good week!
