Ode To Decomposing Camellias

There is this beautiful Camellia plant around the corner from my apartment building that has been blooming for what seems like months. Every morning I walk by and see a bunch of new buds, as well as half-decomposed flowers that have fallen to the ground. And they’re just as pretty when they fade away as they are in full bloom. If I could scoop them all up and put them in a vase I would. But since they’re stemless, I took these pics instead.
