I took my second Workshop SF class on Friday night with my BF: this one was a “date-nite” through How About We (which got us a $50 discount, free wine, beer and an apron). And it was such a fun thing to do together—neither of us cook much, so this was a good food class for us. Kelly McVicker, who taught, had the room all set up with fresh veggies, spices, the tools we needed, a couple of boiling cauldrons, and her own pickling samples. All we had to do was show up. We watched, we listened, we drank, we chopped. And we each made two jars of pickles. It was fun—and surprisingly easy.
